1 head lettuce, broken into small pieces
1-1/2 cups grated carrots
2 cups mayonnaise
2 T. sugar
White pepper
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Optional:
chopped celery
frozen peas
green pepper, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In 9x13 dish, layer lettuce, then carrots (and optional ingredients). Spread mayo over entire top of vegetables like frosting. Sprinkle sugar and pepper over the mayo layer. Top with cheese and bacon. May be prepared the night before serving. Keep covered in the refrigerator.
