1 1/2 lbs hamburger
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1/3 cup water
2 tbsp. parsley
2 tbsp. basil
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp. oregano
1 tbsp. sugar
pepper
1 pkg sliced mozzarella cheese (I use pepper jack instead)
1 pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
1 egg
1 16oz sm curd cottage cheese
9 Lasagna noodles cooked

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger, skim off fat, add tomato sauce, paste, water, half of all spices, and all of sugar. Simmer till blended.

In bowl , beat egg, add cottage cheese, shredded cheese and other half of spices.

In 9x13 pan layer, beginning with meat, noodles, sliced cheese, cottage cheese mix, then another layer of noodles, then hamburger. Bake at 375º for 35 minutes. I put another layer of sliced cheese on the top the last 10 minutes of baking.
