9 or 10 inch uncooked pie shell
4 eggs
2 C sour cream
1 C sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 C shredded coconut or coconut flakes

Chocolate Frosting;
2 squares chocolate or 1/3 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 C milk
1 T butter
1 C confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, sour cream, sugar and vanilla in bowl until well mixed.
Add coconut and pour into pie shell.
Bake at 350º, like custard pie, until light brown on top and knife blade comes out clean when inserted in center of pie.

Top with Chocolate Frosting:
Combine chocolate, 1/4 C milk and 1 T butter. Heat over boiling water in double boiler until chocolate melts. Blend until smooth.
Remove from heat.
Add 1 C sifted confectioners sugar.
Beat until smooth and glossy. If too thin, add additional sugar.
