2/3 C. butter (no substitutes)
1/2 C. sugar
1/4 C. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 C. flour
3/4 C. chocolate sprinkles
36 chocolate kisses

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter in a large bowl. Add sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; beat until combined. Beat in egg and vanilla. Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in remaining flour with a wooden spoon. Cover and chill dough for 1 hour or until easy to handle. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll each into chocolate sprinkles. Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets. Press your thumb in center of each ball. Bake at 375 for 7-8 minutes or until edges are firm. Remove from oven; immediately press a chocolate kiss into center of each cookie. Transfer to wire racks to cool. Makes 36.
