5 apples pared and cut into cubes
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup nuts
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle the sugar, vanilla and cinnamon on the cubed apples. Let stand 1/2 hour.

Beat eggs and oil. Add the apple mix. Add the raisins and nuts. Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt and nutmeg. Add the apple mixture. Spread in rimmed 9 X 13 cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 40 minutes.
