1/2 c. butter, softened
1 T. prepared mustard
1 tsp. dill weed
sautéed onions
french rolls
Ham, thinly sliced
Swiss or Gruyere cheese, thinly sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, mustard, dill weed in a small bowl. Mix well.

Slice rolls in half and spread mixture on bottom half. Top with onions and slices of ham and cheese and top half of roll.

Wrap sandwiches with foil. Bake at 300º for 20 minutes.

These have been a fun hiking sandwich. They keep warm in our cooler and when we get back to our car from a long hike, we have warm food! They also are an easy travel food and a make ahead lunch.
