2 C. Flour
3/4 C. Sugar
1 T. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 C. Pecans, chopped
2 Eggs, beaten
1-1/2 C. Mashed Banana (3), really ripe ones work best
1/4 C. Buttermilk
1/4 C. Shortening, melted
1 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°.
Blend first 5 ingredients; mix in pecans. Combine remaining ingredients, blend thoroughly. Add, all at once, to dry mixture; stirring only enough to moisten dry ingredients.
Grease and flour pans, pour into pans. Even it all out. Bake about 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
