1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup nuts, chopped
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350-degrees. Beat together butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder and cinnamon; mix well. Add nuts and chocolate chips. Divide dough in half and shape into 2 long loaves, 1-1/2-inches in diameter. Place on greased baking sheet, flatten slightly. Bake 18 to 20 minutes until firm. With a sharp knife, cut loaves diagonally into 3/4-inch slices. Place cut slices on baking sheet and bake 10 minutes longer or until lightly browned.
