2 1/2 pounds ground beef, browned
2 cups onions, chopped
garlic, to taste
4 tablespoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons ground, cumin
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
2 cups tomato juice
2 (14 1/2-ounce) cans diced tomatoes with juice
2 cubes beef bouillon
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons cornmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients. Cover and cook 1 hour. Uncover and cook 40-50 minutes.

*The original recipe called for 2 cups beef broth, I substituted 2 cups tomato juice and 2 beef bouillon cubes. I also use 3/4 teaspoon of Chipotle Powder instead of crushed red pepper. (Less if Grammer's is eating it!)
