Personal Notes:
Back in the1940's was so much fun growing up in Draper, North Carolina now known as Eden, NC. There were four of us girls, Shirley, Frances, Justine and LaVerne. We had the very best childhood with loving parents. As we girls got grown and married we continued to go to Mom and Dads every Christmas morning for a great meal. There was Shirley and her husband Bobby Freeman and daughter Teresa. Then Frances and husband Eddie Roland their daughter April and Frances son Tim Stewart. Justine was married to James Revels and their children Rene', Tammy and Bryan. LaVerne and husband Harold Pennington and daughter Michelle. As a family tradition we always had a big pot of homemade soup on Christmas Day. We also gathered every Sunday to eat lunch with our parents. Gosh this was so much fun. Our children loved going to Granny & Papa's. The four of us girls never in Mom and Dads lifetime missed a Christmas with them.
