4 TBS butter
2 lbs. brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved lengthwise/through the core
½-1 C. chicken broth*
2 TBSP maple syrup
1 tsp minced fresh thyme
½ tsp. cayenne pepper*
4 teaspoons cider vinegar*
salt and pepper to taste
1 C. pomegranate seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 2 TBSP butter in large skillet over med.high heat.
Cook Brussels sprouts until browned, 6-8 minutes. Stir in broth, 1 TBSP. syrup, thyme and cayenne and cook covered over med. low heat until sprouts are nearly tender, about 6-8 minutes.
Uncover, increase heat to med.high.
Cook until liquid is nearly evaporated.
Remove from heat.
Stir in remaining butter, syrup and vinegar.
Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with pomegranate seeds.

We had these delicious brussels sprouts at Maggie's house for Thanksgiving dinner in 2012. Delicious! Maggie sent me the recipe but the amount of chicken broth and pomegranate seeds didn't translate in the email so I guessed....
