3 ripe peeled bananas
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup softened butter
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses (dark)
21/2 cups flour
1`1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tea baking soda
1 tea baking powder
1 tea salt
1/2 tea each of allspice and nutmeg
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup each walnuts and raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Slice bananas into blender and whirl until smooth (11/2 cups).Cream sugar and butter and beat in egg,stir in molasses.Combine flours and dry seasonings and beat into wet ingredients-alternate with buttermilk and bananas mixture.Stir in nuts and raisins.Pour into 2 well greased 81/2x41/2 bread pans.Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
