1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cup + 2 Tablespoons Buttermilk
3 eggs
2 Tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 1/2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Add sugar and milk together. Beat together and let set for 30 minutes. Add eggs, oil and vanilla.
Stir together. Add dry ingredients and mix together well. You then need to put the dough in the donut "funnel" or drop them into a fry daddy preheated at 375 degrees.

This brings back such a wonderful childhood memory. Either Saturday mornings or after school my mom would make this treat. We always begged her to take them out a little early so they were a little doughie!
