1 cup milk
3 tab.sugar
1 tab butter
1 pkg yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 egg beaten
1/2 tea salt
3 3/4 cups flour plus 2 tab.
Vegetable cooking spray
2 tab. butter melted
1/4 cup brown sugar plus 2 tab.packed
2 tab. cinnamon
1/2cup sifted powdered sugar
1 tab.milk
1/2 tea vanilla

Directions:
Scald1 cup milk-remove from heat,add sugar and 1 tab. butter,stir and cool.Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large bowl.Let stand 5 minutes.Add milk mixture,egg and salt and stir well.Gradually stir in 3 1/2 cups flour to make a soft dough. Knead 8 minutes and put back in bowl coat with cooking spray,cover and let rise.Punch dough down and turn onto a floured board.Roll out to about 1/3 in.Brush 2 tab. melted butter over entire surface.Mix brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the dough evenly.You can sprinkle raisins or nuts if desired.Roll up tightly like a jelly roll and slice into 11/2 in. rounds.Plac e on greased pan 1 in.apart cover with waxed paper and let rise to double (about 1 hour).Bake for 20-25 minutes in 400 degrees.Mix powdered sugar 1 tab. milk 1/2 vanilla and drizzle over baked rolls.
