2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
4 oz. can green chilies
16 oz. cream-style corn
1/2 c. Monterey Jack, shredded
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c. flour
1 c. yellow cornmeal
4 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350º. Grease and flour a 13x9 inch baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well. Add the chilies, corn, and cheeses; mix well. Stir together the flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt. Add to the corn mixture. Pour and scrape into the prepared pan. Put in the oven, reduce the heat to 300º, and bake one hour. Serve warm.

Mom uses less sugar, adds another egg, uses more flour and cornmeal and less baking powder.
