4 cups flour
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup cold, water
1 3/4 cups shortening
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and salt. Cut in shortening. Add water, egg and vinegar. Mix well. Refrigerate. When chilled roll out dough. Follow recipe directions.

For Grandmas' Apple Pie:
Use two cans Comstock Apple Pie Filling. Add cinnamon and 1/4 cup flour to apples. Place apples in pie shell and top with slices of butter. (about 5) Cover with second crust. Seal and vent pie crust. Baste pie crust with milk and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture. Bake for approximately 30-40 minutes at 375 degrees. Grandma always said that if it bubbles out of the vented crust it is ready!
