Ingredients:  
2 c. flour
1 Tbsp ginger
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt

3/4 c shortening
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and sugar. Add molasses and egg. Mix together dry ingredients and add to shortening mixture. Roll into small balls and then in granulated sugar. Place on cookie. Bake at 350º for 12 -15 minutes. They will be rounded and cracked when cooked.
