1 c shortening
1/2 tsp salt
1 c peanut butter
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar, packed
2 eggs, beaten
1 T milk
2 c flour, sifted
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine shortening, salt and peanut butter and mix well.
Add sugar and brown sugar, cream thoroughly.
Add beaten eggs and milk.
Sift flour with soda and add to first mixture, blend well.
Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheets. Press with damp cloth over a glass.
Bake in 325º oven for 15-20 minutes.
