3/4 tsp Salt
3 cups a/p Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 cup Shortening or Butter
4 eggs
2 cups Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
1 Cup Buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, salt, soda and baking powder together. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter, add sugar, beat until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. To this mixture, add the flour alternately with the buttermilk.
Grease and flour a bundt or tube cake pan.
Bake approximately 79 minutes.
