4 lg. Fresh Chicken Breasts
1 egg
1 C. Milk
1 sm. Bag of Pretzels (salted or unsalted)
1 Jar of Dry Roasted Nuts (unsalted)
1-2 Tbs. Dried Thyme
2 Tbs. EVOO

Directions:
Directions:
Cut chicken breasts into strips.
Dump about half the pretzels & half the nuts into food processor.
Pulse until chopped but not mushy. Pour into a bowl & mix in thyme.
In another bowl mix egg & milk.
Heat EVOO in pan until hot.
Dip chicken strips in egg & milk mix then in the pretzel & nut mix to coat.
Lay breaded chicken in pan and cook until golden brown. Approximately 2-4 minutes on each side.

Can be served with a variety of dipping sauces. Tailor’s favorite is Ranch Dressing.

Tailor wanted to submit her chicken tenders receipt for your cook book. She loves to cook but can be a picky eater. She saw a version of this receipt on Rachel Rae and thought it looked good. That was all it took for her mom & Grandma Sarah to run to the store & buy the ingredients. She can do every step of the process with supervision on the cutting & frying of the chicken. When she served it to Grandpa Al for the first time & he tried to take the whole plate for himself she got a big grin on her face & realized she had a hit on her hands! Hope you enjoy it!
