Dressing:
3 lg. garlic cloves, minced
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 T. lemon juice
2 T. parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 c. oil

Salad:
1 head Butter Lettuce
1 pkg. fresh spinach
1/2 head Romaine Lettuce
1 lg. Avocado
1/2 red onion, sliced thin
Croutons
Directions:
Directions:
Combine the dressing ingredients together in the bottom of a large salad bowl. Add the salad ingredients to the bowl and toss together. Top with Croutons and serve.

This is one of John's favorite salads. It comes from a Tulsa Junior League cookbook called Cooks Collage. Many times, I will make the dressing in a shaker bottle and keep in the refrigerator.
