2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c shortening, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast cakes in warm water. Scald milk, mix together sugar, beaten eggs and melted shortening. Add milk and let cool to lukewarm. Add yeast which has been dissolved in warm water. Then add flour and salt, a little at a time until the dough is of a consistency to clean the bowl.
Put dough on a lightly floured board and knead with palm of the hands; place in a greased bowl and let rise for 1 to 2 hours, until double in size. Again, place dough on floured board and knead until air bubbles are out.
Make crumb mixture from sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
Cut dough into 1 inch balls, roll balls in melted butter, then in the crumb mixture. Put balls in angel food cake tin in two layers. Let rise for 30 minutes and bake 35 to 40 minutes in a 350º oven.
