1/2 c shortening or margarine
1 c brown sugar
1 egg
1c applesauce
2 1/2 c flour
1 t soda
1/2 t cinnamon
1/2 t salt
1/2c raisins or dates
1/2 c nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar. Add egg & applesauce, then add dry ingredients. Finally add raisins & nuts. Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet. Bake 375 for 15 min.
