1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 - 16 oz. jar maraschino cherries (save juice)
6 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 c. sweetened condensed milk

Directions:

In large bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and baking soda, set aside. In mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar. Add egg, vanilla, and then dry ingredients. Mix well. Shape into 1" balls and press down center of ball with thumb. Place cherry in hole. In sauce pan, melt chocolate with milk. Stir in 4 tsp. of cherry juice. Spoon 2 tsp. frosting over each cherry. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes. Cool.
