3 C white sugar
1/2 C white syrup
2/3 C water
2 egg whites (beaten)
salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 C nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, syrup, water and salt until soft ball stage
Pour 1/2 mixture over beaten egg whites, beating while adding.
Return to stove and cook to hard ball stage.
Pour remainder over egg white mixture, beating wile pouring
Beat until very thick, and add nuts and vanilla just before pouring into greased pan.
