3 bananas
1 c, sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. shortening (I use vegetable oil)
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mash banana and add sugar. Let stand for 15 minutes. Beat in eggs, then add shortening and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients. Bake in large loaf pan or several smaller ones at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until tests done. Be sure to spray the pans with cooking spray first. This recipe is from our church cookbook put out in l985.
