1 C shortening
1/2 C sugar
1 C firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 C flour
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 C chopped nuts
2 C (12 oz pkg) Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs & beat well. Sift together flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture.
Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen.
