1 lb Ground Beef
1 Onion
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Chili
8 oz Tomato Sauce
4 oz Chopped Olives
1/4 cup Sweet Pickle Relish
1/2 lb grated Cheddar Cheese
12 small French Rolls
Aluminum Foil

Filling:
Brown Onion in a few tablespoons of oil, then add ground beef, salt, pepper, chili. Drain fat, Add tomato sauce, olives and relish.

Rolls: Hollow out rolls by cutting one small end of the roll off and then removing the inside of the roll. Save the end of the roll that you cut off.

Fill each hollowed out roll with filling, and place end that was cut off back into hole. Wrap each roll in aluminum foil. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes.

This Fenoglio Family Favorite was made each New Years eve. They lived 3 blocks from the Rose Parade Route and enjoyed these hot mini-meat sandwich's while sitting on the parade route. These are great served with potato salad.
