1/4 lb. butter
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple in its own juice
5 slices cubed white bread

Preheat oven to 350º.

Grease 1 1/2 qt. casserole or 9x9 baking dish. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, beat well. Stir in pineapple with juice and the bread cubes.

Bake for 45 minutes until lightly brown. Serve warm or hot.

I double this recipe for a 9x13 casserole. Casserole can be re-heated at about 200 degrees for about 15 minutes.
