2 large baking apple
5Tbsp butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 Tbsp dark Karo syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
8 slices thick French bread
3 beaten eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice 2 large baking apples, cook until tender in heavy skillet with 5 tbsp. butter. Add brown sugar, corn syrup and cinnamon.Cook until sugar dissolves. Pour mixture into Pam sprayed 9x13 baking dish. Arrange 8 slices thick French bread over apples. Beat eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour over bread, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Invert onto serving tray.
