1/3 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour milk
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. cocoa
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Add sugar and egg, beat well. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients. Mix into batter in 1/3's. Mix in milk by 1/2's. Turn into 8 or 9"pan (greased and floured on bottom only). Bake at 350ºF, for about 30 min. or makes 12 cup cakes, bake for 15 min.
