1/3 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. minus 2 tbsp. milk
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar, egg and vanilla. Sift the other dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk. Scrape batter into 8 or 9 inch pan. Bake for 40 minutes at 350ºF.
