2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. grated lemon/orange rind
3/4 c. orange juice (or 1/2 lemon 1/2 water)
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. chopped cranberries

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients together. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add fruit peel juice and beaten egg. Fold in raisins and cranberries (can omit the cranberries and have a raisin loaf). Bake in greased loaf pan at 350ºF.
