1 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Dash of salt
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
In medium saucepan, bring to a boil: sugar, water, cream of tartar and salt. In a large stand mixing bowl beat egg whites while slowly adding boiled mixture. Beat until stiff peaks form. Add vanilla and beat to mix. Frosts two angel food cakes.
