Ingredients: 1 box (18.25 oz.) Devil's Food cake mix (preferably Betty Crocker Super Moist) 1 1/3 cups water 1/2 cup vegetable oil 3 eggs Filling: 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup milk 1 1/3 cups smooth peanut butter 1 jar (7 oz.) Marshmallow Cream Glaze: 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1/3 cup milk 1 lb. package powdered sugar 1/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions:Cake: Preheat oven to 350º F. Grease and flour a 13"x9" baking pan. Prepare the cake by directions on the box using the water, oil and eggs. Pour batter into the pan and bake 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely. Filling: In a saucepan, combine the sugar and milk. Bring to a boil. Add peanut butter and marshmallow. Mix well. Quickly pour the mixture over the cooled cake and spread evenly. Cool this completely. Glaze: In a medium size saucepan, melt the butter. Add the cocoa powder and milk. Bring this to a boil. Remove from the heat and add the powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Pour the glaze over the peanut butter layer and allow this to cool completely before serving. |
