1 1/2 cups butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
5 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and butter until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix together flour, baking powder and salt. Mix into batter until smooth. Cover and chill overnight.
Roll out dough on floured surface and cut into shapes. Bake at 400 degrees about 6 minutes til done.
Cool and frost cookies. I mix powdered sugar with milk, half and half or cream to desired consistency. Add food coloring. Decorate with lots of sprinkles!!!!
