Layered Taco Dip Recipe

1 can refried beans
1 1/2 c. sour cream
2 cups shredded lettuce
2 cups shredded cheese
1 cup chopped tomatoes
Sliced olives (small can)
Chopped green onions
Salt and pepper to taste

*green chilies, hot pepper slices (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Spread the beans into the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Over the top, layer the sour cream, chilies, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes - in that order. Top with sliced olives, hot peppers, and green onions. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours. Serve with tortilla chips.

*I either use Marzetti Southwestern Ranch, or I mix Tastefully Simple's "Fiesta Party" into the sour cream.

*This recipe is great for diets - fat free cheese, sour cream, and beans do not affect the taste.

*I have also made with seasoned chicken and ground beef - delicious! Made it for dinner, where my family spooned it into soft tortillas and rolled it up like a taco!
