2 tasses cassonade, pâle
2 tasses sirop de maïs, clair
1 boîte de lait concentré sucré Eagle Brand
1 c.a. thé essence de vanille

Directions:
1 Dans une casserole, mêler les 3 premiers ingrédients (beurre, cassonade, sirop de maïs) et faire fondre sur feu moyen-chaud. S'assurer que la cassonade ait bien fondu.
2 Porter à ébullition. Bouillir pendant 2 minutes, pas plus.
3 Retirer du feu immédiatement et incorporer le lait Eagle Brand et la vanille.
4 Brasser doucement pour caraméliser.
5 Laisser tiédir et mettre en pots.

Le rendement de cette recette est de 3 pots Mason de 500 ml ou des pots de beurre d'arachide et c'est parfait.
