"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Taco seasoning or garlic/dill
Broccoli
Carrots
Cheddar cheese, grated
Roma tomatoes, sliced

Directions:
Roll out crescents flat on baking sheet. Do not separate them, but leave them as a solid piece. Bake as directed, or until the crust is golden brown. Let cool. Remove from pan and set on large cutting board or serving plate.
Mix sour cream with either taco seasoning or a mixture of garlic and dill. Spread on cooled crust. Chop broccoli and carrots quite finely and sprinkle over sour cream. Sprinkle cheese over everything. Top with tomato slices and slice in a grid pattern, with each piece centered by a tomato slice.

Personal Notes:
This recipe is very nice and light compared to most appetizers. It’s a bit messy if you serve it right away; better to make it ahead of time so everything settles together by the time you serve it.
