2 or 3 split chicken breasts
1/2 cup onion
1 can of chicken broth or box
2 stalks of celery (chopped up)
1 bay leave
thyme (dash)
parsley (dash)
chopped carrots (2)
salt and pepper
1 can drained peas

Thickening
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup milk or water

Dumplings
1 1/2 cups of flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup milk
1/8 cup nutmeg
1 egg slightly beaten
2 tbsp. oil

Directions:
Directions:
Use a 2 quart pot (water and chicken broth) 3/4 full, boil the chicken 45 minutes until done with onion, celery,1 bay leave,thyme, parsley,and chopped carrots. Also salt and pepper if desired.

Take chicken out of broth, De-bone the chicken and take the skin off. Put meat back in the broth, turn heat down to a simmer. You can add two bouillon cubes.

Add thickening stirring. Mix flour and water or milk in a cup, stir with a fork until smooth. Add 1 can of drained peas.

Spoon dumpling mixture into chicken pot, cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes, Uncover and cook for another 5-7 minutes, use fork to see if done (middle not doughy)
