2 lbs of Great Northern Beans
1/2- salt pork
1 onion sliced
Molasses to taste
Brown sugar to taste
1 tsp. of dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Soak beans overnight in water (water should be 4 inches above the beans). Bring beans to a boil with the salt pork and onion. Reduce the heat and simmer until beans are split (1-1/2 hours).
Add molasses, brown sugar and mustard- save liquid aside to add later when needed.
Bake covered for 50 to 60 minutes at 350º
Remove cover and continue to cook for 2-3 hours- add liquid if they dry out
