1 cup butter, softened
1 cup plus 1 Tablespoon sugar, divided
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup baking cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chopped pecans, divided
1 package (13 oz) Rolo candies, unwrapped

Directions:
Directions:
1. In mixing bowl cream butter 1 cup sugar, and brown sugar.
2. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
3. Combine flour, cocoa, and baking soda. Add to butter mixture until just combined. Stir in 1/2 cup pecans.
4. Wrap each Rolo with 1 Tablespoon of cookie dough.
5. combine remaining sugar and pecans. dip each cookie top in the pecan and sugar mixture. Place on cookie sheet with nut side up.
6. Bake at 375 for 7 to 10 minutes or until top is slightly cracked.
7. cool 3 minutes and remove to wire cooling racks to cool completely.

Yield - about 5 dozen cookies
