1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
4 T olive oil
4 pieces of chicken
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 clove garlic, minced
1 T tomato paste
2 cups stewed tomatoes, drained
1/2 t allspice
1/2 t ground pepper
2 bay leaves
1/2 tsp thyme
Oregano and salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
­Heat oil in skillet and saute chicken until lightly browned on
all sides. 
Add onions and saute for 1­2 minutes 
Add white
wine  and  let  boil 
Lower  heat  and  add  tomato  paste, tomatoes, and mushrooms and seasonings ­
Cover and cook for 40 minutes
­Remove bay leaves and sprinkle with parsley and garlic before serving
