1 cup sugar
1 oz anisette liquor
1 cup shortening
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup orange juice (frozen)
6 tsp baking powder
2 large or 3 small eggs
1 tsp baking soda
6 1/2 cups flour
Confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together until light and fluffy.

In a small bowl, mix orange juice, eggs, vanilla and anisette liquor. Add to shortening and sugar mixture and beat well.

Sift together baking powder, baking soda and flour. Add to first mixture and mix well.

Spoon 1 tsp and roll into a ball.

Place balls on greased cookie sheet and bake at 250º for 8 to 10 minutes.

Prepare frosting - Mix milk and 2 oz anisette liquor with confectionary sugar until it reaches a soft consistency. Add food coloring as desired and dunk cookies into mixture. Add sprinkles if desired.
