1 lb. medium wide noodles
1 T. kosher salt
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. sugar
1. c. applesauce
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 eggs whipped or beaten
1 large apple sliced thin
1/2 c. golden raisins
2 T sugar an 1/2 tsp. cinnamon mixed together
1/3 cup of cornflake crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325º. Add salt to water and boil noodles until al dente. Drain the noodles, but do not rinse. Put the noodle back into the hot pot that the noodles were cooked in. Add the oil and mix until coated. Mix the applesauce with the tsp. of cinnamon. Add to the cooked noodles. Add the sugar and mix well Add the sliced apple and the raisins. Mix well and taste to see if it needs more sugar. Add the eggs Mix well and turn into a greased 9x13" pan. Sprinkle the cornflakes crumbs over the kugel and top with sugar cinnamon mixture. Bake approximately 1 hour or until set in the center. Cool and cut into squares.
