3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. each- cloves, ginger, salt
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and let cool. Add sugar, molasses, and egg, beat well. sift in flour, baking soda and spices, mix well. Chill dough in fridge several hours. From 1" balls and roll in granulated sugar and place on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes. Do not over bake!! Cookies will rise and start to fall in oven.
