1/2 lb bacon (medium dice)
1 cup chopped leeks
1 cup chopped yellow onions
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 carrot peeled and diced
3 bay leaves
1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
1/2 cup flour
1 lb white potatoes diced
4 cups clam juice
2 cups heavy cream
2 lbs clams
2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
salt and pepper

Directions:

Saute bacon, then add veggies, seasonings. Stir in flour. Add potatoes and clam juice. Simmer until tender then add cream and clams. Simmer 2 minutes then add parsley
