4 eggs
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
1 1/3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
8in pan, buttered and bread-crumbed

Directions:
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 325º Fahrenheit
2) Beat eggs and sugar until white and fluffy
3) Work in the butter until creamy
4) Add the sifted flour and baking powder to the butter and stir until well blended
5) Pour the batter into the well-buttered and bread-crumbed cake pan
6) Bake until done (sides come away from pan and its nicely brown on top), roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour
7) Once done, cool and cover with ambrosia icing
