2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 cup butter, melted
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
5/8 cup lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 350º Fahrenheit
2) Grease a 9x13 inch pan with butter
3) In a medium bowl, stir together flour and confectioners sugar
4) Blend in the melted butter
5) Press the dough into the bottom of the prepared pan
6) Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, or until golden
7) In a large bowl, beat eggs until light
8) In a separate bowl, combine the sugar, baking powder, and flour so there will be no flour lumps
9) Stir the sugar mixture into the eggs
10) Stir the lemon juice into the mixture
11) Pour over the prepared crust and return to the oven
12) Bake for an additional 30 minutes or until bars are set
13) Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars
