5 oz butter
3/4 cup sugar
6 oz chocolate, melted
8 egg yolks
10 egg whites, beaten
1 cup flour
butter & flour for form
apricot jam

Directions:
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 325º Fahrenheit
2) Beat butter in a mix-master until light and fluffy
3) Add the sugar, then the melted chocolate, and then the egg yolks one by one
4) Fold in beaten egg whites with flour into the cake mixture
5) Butter and flour the cake form, fill with dough, and bake for 1-1/2 hours
6) Turn the cake over on rack, then turn back on another rack so that the cake is the way it was in the oven.
7) As soon as the cake is cool, cut the top flat, turn the cake upside down
8) Cover the former bottom of the cake with warmed apricot jam
9) Cover with melted chocolate
